Wendy Doyle is the founder of Doyle and Doyle design. She is a designer, artist and teacher. A graduate of NCAD, Griffith College Dublin and The Dublin Institute of Design She has worked as an interior designer for over two decades and has created many of Dublin’s social and residential spaces.
Hospitality specialists, we enhance use and generate a sense of place and social connection through design creating aesthetic and fun spaces for people to enjoy.
Commercial Interior Design
Very much customer driven we design according to the needs of those who will frequent the finished space. Identifying trends we designed and created the original concept for Bobo’s Gourmet Irish burgers Wexford Street and designed and built the flagship on Dame Street in the midst of a recession. Bobo’s was one of the first gourmet burger restaurants in Ireland.
Happy to devise heavily conceptual interior design projects as demonstrated in the design and build of the controversial Shebeen Chic in 2008. Despite being created from what some would consider junk, Shebeen Chic was incredibly beautiful when finished.
Collaboration is a fundamental part of what we do. Working with other designers, artists, business owners and trades people as it takes a team to get the job done. Together with Brenda Scott Noonan we created the much loved space, The Betsy Swords.
Residential Interior Design
Working closely with our clients we establish their needs and draw out their style to create the home they want. Not everyone requires the full design service and sometimes a bit of information and direction is all you need to get your design project going. With this in mind we have tailored our offering to give the client options ranging from a design consultation to the full turnkey design service.
We also stage properties for sale and rental and can offer a consultation or the full design service. Either working with what furniture you have or providing new items.
